JULIA WINDISCHBAUER
Julia Windischbauer was born in Linz in 1996. She studied acting at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich. In 2019 she received the Academy of the Arts‘ O.E. Hasse Prize for outstanding talent and began her first engagement at Münchner Kammerspiele. From the 2020/21 season she was an ensemble member at Deutsches Theater Berlin, moving to the Burgtheater with the 2023/24 season. For her role in the film PARA:DIES (directed by Elena Wolff), Julia Windischbauer was awarded the 2022 Max Ophüls Prize „Best Young Actress“ and the Diagonale Schauspielpreis.
She lives in Berlin and Vienna and works as an actress, editor, producer, photographer and screenwriter.
CALLAS, DARLING (AT) is her debut film.
